OUR MISSION: The WACC is dedicated to advancing the exceptional economic growth of the greater Williston area, fostering a community where people want to live and thrive, not just work.

OUR VISION: Our vision is to advance the economic, industrial, professional, cultural, educational, social, and civic welfare of the greater Williston area.

OUR CORE VALUES: To stay true to our mission and vision statements, we have identified four core values:

• Connect: To create and foster meaningful and beneficial working relationships between businesses and organizations; with city, county, and other government entities; and with the community.
• Engage: To help bridge the gap between businesses and community members by offering opportunities and opening channels for communications and interaction as well as providing a platform for information and education.
• Grow: To provide benefits, programs, initiatives, and assistance that foster business, community, and personal growth that will, in turn, support the Chamber's growth so it can continue improving its service to the greater Williston area.
• Lead: To be a servant leader in the community, advocating for business interests that will help advance the local economy while cultivating a leadership culture within the business community and developing the leaders of tomorrow.

CHAMBER HISTORY

Since 1907, the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce has represented, supported, and advocated for business interests, organizations, and citizens in our community.   Our Chamber began as the Williston Community Club and changed its name to the Williston Chamber of Commerce in 1939.  While the chamber has seen many more changes than just its name, its mission still holds true:  to be a champion of the Williston area united business community.

The Chamber, a registered 501(c)6, is a volunteer, nonprofit business entity, representing about 500 member businesses and organizations in a vast array of industries. Governed by a Board of Directors, the Chamber works with local, state, and federal officials as well as other organizations in the area to attract, retain, and expand businesses in the greater Williston area.
